How it should work

I’ve posted this before elsewhere, but I’m here and it helps make my point.

Let’s take a walk down 14th Avenue East heading south starting at Prospect.

Here’s what we see facing north.

And here is the single family house on the south east corner.

And the neighbors.

Aloha from Aloha and 14th. Distance covered: one block.

Mid block now.

And across the street:

Wait a minute. WTH!

OMG! Are those….apartments!

Those look great, but holy….

My eyes are bleeding now. That’s a high rise. Must be high priced condos. What a view!

Wait. That’s Seattle Housing Authority housing. How’d this happen?

Sometimes if you want to see how it’s done, just take a walk.
