Today at City Hall: Cottages

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn’t know what to do;
She gave them some broth without any bread;
Then whipped them all soundly and put them to bed

The Council will be meeting today to talk cottages or DADUs if you prefer. Come by or tune in. Will Bertolet appear to put these rumors about him being Mike Podowski to rest? We’ll see.

1. Backyard Cottages: 1 Year Later
A lunchtime discussion about Seattle’s backyard cottages and how they’ve developed throughout the City. In November 2009, the City Council authorized the construction of backyard cottages in single-family zones throughout the City. The Committee will review and discuss a report that summarizes program outcomes to-date and provides design information for many of the
newly permitted cottages.
