Seattle’s Land Use Code: 2011 in review by WordPress

Land use, typically, is thought of a boring subject. But if you think about it, what’s more important that where we live, what it looks like, how expensive it is to live there, and how we get from there to places we want to go and back.

All that is shaped by land use policy. So maybe the numbers from my blog started on a whim gathered so much steam. Thanks for reading, commenting, and sharing your ideas and thoughts. Hear’s to the hope that land use policy in 2012 gets better in Seattle!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 25,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 9 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
